Epoch Webinars: Epoch Live - Measuring the Impact of Your Internal Programs with Epoch

We are back with our Epoch Live Webinar Series! 🎉 It is a monthly webinar series where Jade Choy, Epoch's CEO, and Keith Choy, Epoch’s COO guide you through the latest trends in the Employee Experience space and demonstrate how you can harness Epoch’s full potential.

In case you missed it, here are some key learnings and takeaways from this week’s  Epoch Live. Scroll on for notes! 👇

How Epoch works on the employee side

Epoch brings all your events under one virtual roof so that it’s easy for employees to navigate everything going on in the company. This feature is a game-changer for hybrid organizations, creating a centralized hub for employees to connect with others, breaking down barriers, and fostering a sense of community. When searching for events, employees can toggle between locations, teams, event types, and date ranges, tailoring their experience to find their community with ease.

A sense of FOMO is also created by showcasing who else is attending. This not only builds anticipation but also encourages active participation. Event organizers are able to break down larger events into sessions, enabling participants to choose specific segments to attend. Registration is easy, and attendees can confirm their participation in one or all sessions.

Integration with Slack

This integrated approach Epoch takes is especially valuable in a landscape where tool fatigue is a real concern. Users are given the flexibility to use Epoch alongside their existing tools, like Slack and Teams. Events can be pre-scheduled across channels, ensuring employees stay informed about all upcoming activities without switching between platforms. Confirmations, feedback prompts, and even drip campaigns leading up to the event can be seamlessly managed.

Integration with calendars

Epoch also seamlessly integrates with your calendar, providing a comprehensive end-to-end tracking solution. Confirmations made on Slack or the dashboard reflect on the calendar, offering a centralized schedule view. Users can easily delete events from the calendar, and notifications keep everyone in the loop if someone withdraws their participation.

As soon as attendees accept on their calendars, they will receive the drip campaign of communications leading up to the event, keeping them well informed.

How Epoch works on the admin side

On the admin side, Epoch offers a comprehensive view of all hosted events, simplifying management and oversight. Detailed reports enable admins to analyze team engagement rates and assess the return on investment for each event.

Admins have the power to invite individuals or entire distribution lists, with customizable setups for cutoff times, in-person check-ins, and automatic Slack channel creation for registered participants. Registration surveys can also be configured to gather essential information.

Many of Epoch’s features were designed with set-and-forget functionality. This means that we allow admins to automate communications so that essential information reaches participants easily.

We recently launched a feature to measure employee satisfaction with an NPS (net promoter score) to see how likely employees are to recommend an event. Jade suggests using templated surveys with 3-4 standard questions so that you can get valuable insights to help guide future planning and strategy.

Communications

We ensure admins have the tools to streamline communications, avoiding information overload. They can check if someone else is already promoting an event, enabling efficient collaboration. The multi-market targeting feature allows admins to schedule communications strategically, preventing overcommunication and ensuring messages reach the right audience.

Data Analytics

In addition to being an event platform, Epoch is also a data powerhouse. We provide granular data, such as who actually attended an event, allowing for concentrated promotional efforts. Feedback from participants can be downloaded and analyzed, and if survey responses are low, admins can easily resend them.

The reporting feature allows admins to identify the most engaging promotions, facilitating a data-driven approach to event planning. Admins can set up a dedicated reporting team to track monthly trends, understand which types of events resonate, and pinpoint popular locations.
