Recognizing the diversity within your team, be mindful of various cultural and personal events that may be taking place. Crafting inclusive events and expressions of gratitude during this vibrant month ensures that everyone feels a part of the collective success, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Celebrate Black History Month at work by organizing educational programs, celebrating African American culture, art, and history, and promoting ongoing diversity initiatives throughout the year.


February 1 - National Singing Day 🎤

National Singing Day  is dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating the joy and influence that singing brings.

Idea: Organize a karaoke session. Singing is a known stress reliever. It allows individuals to unwind, have fun, and temporarily shift their focus from work-related pressure while bonding with colleagues.

February 2 - International Crêpe Day‍ 🥞

Encourage your team to whip up this dessert at home and showcase their culinary skills by sharing images on your company's communication platform, such as Slack. Organize a competition, rewarding the best crêpe creations. 

Idea: Use Uber Eats or Instacart to give employees credits to purchase their own crepes or ingredients from your company!


February 2 - Groundhog Day 🌱

Discover if spring is around the corner or if winter will linger a bit longer, adding a touch of fun folklore to your February festivities.

Idea: Appreciate the vibe weather brings to the workplace with outdoor activities.

February 3 - National Wear Red Day ❤️

National Wear Red Day brings greater attention to heart disease as a leading cause of death for Americans. 

Idea: Ask employees to show their support by wearing red, and try featuring an infographic about heart disease in your employee newsletter.


February 4 - Rosa Parks Day 

Rosa Parks Day honors the American Civil Rights leader Rosa Parks.

Idea: Learn more about Rosa Parks, her experiences on the bus in Alabama, and her role in the Civil Rights movement. Several books and films offer insight to this day.

February 4 - World Cancer Day 🌍

World Cancer Day is a day marked to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. 

Idea: Bring awareness to this cause in your workplace by running a charity event or fundraiser to inspire employees to give back.

February 6 - Safer Internet Day 💻

Safer Internet Day is a day to raise awareness of a safer and better internet for all.

Idea: Host a virtual cybersecurity workshop or training session to educate employees on best practices for online safety. 

February 9 - National Pizza Day 🍕

Celebrate National Pizza Day with your team by encouraging employees to enjoy a few slices for their lunch. Create a happy hour event over lunchtime where employees are able to come together and socialize.

Idea: Use Uber Eats to give employees credits to purchase their own slices from your company!

February 11 - Super Bowl Sunday 🏈

Super Bowl Sunday is a chance for more bonding opportunities. This event gives teams the opportunity to hang out and build friendships.

Idea: Print out some Super Bowl bingo cards for things like touchdowns, screen pans to a celebrity in the crowd, or mentions of a certain sponsor during the commercials.


February 13 - Internet Friends Day 🫂

Internet Friends Day is a moment to appreciate the friendship of your virtual colleagues who've become more than just screen names.

Idea: Host a virtual game night to celebrate the unique connections that make remote work more enjoyable.


‍February 13 - National Cheddar Day 🧀

National Cheddar Day celebrates one of the most popular and versatile cheese types.

Idea: Host a virtual cheese tasting with colleagues to share your favorite cheddar-inspired recipes and recommendations.



‍February 13 - Mardi Gras 🥞

Mardi Gras refers to events of the Carnival celebration, beginning on or after the Christian feasts of the Epiphany and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday.

Idea: Use Uber Eats or Instacart to give employees credits to purchase their own pancakes or ingredients from your company!


February 14 - Valentine’s Day 💙

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romantic love. Take a moment to celebrate your team by expressing appreciation for their contributions.

Idea: A chocolate tasting experience is an interactive team bonding activity that can bring your team closer together.

February 14 - Vasant Panchami 🌻

Vasant Panchami is a festival that marks the beginning of winter’s end and the coming of spring.

Idea:  Encourage employees to wear yellow clothing, which symbolizes the vibrancy of spring and the blooming mustard fields.

February 17 - Random Acts of Kindness Day 🤝🏻

Random Acts of Kindness Day is a fantastic chance for everyone to brighten someone's day with small, unexpected acts of love, compassion, and positivity. 

Idea: Provide your team with prompts to kickstart their acts of kindness and motivate them to share these uplifting moments in a designated Slack channel.


February 19 - Presidents’ Day 

Celebrated on the third Monday of February, this day pays tribute to all past U.S. presidents.

Idea:  Organize a fun trivia quiz focused on presidential history to engage and educate employees about the contributions of past leaders.


February 20 - World Day of Social Justice ⚖

World Day of Social Justice is an international day recognizing the need to promote tackling issues like poverty, exclusion, gender inequality, unemployment, and human rights.

Idea: Host a fundraising event at work to support a cause related to social justice.


February 24 - Tortilla Chip Day 🫓

National Tortilla Chip Day celebrates the tasty and crunchy snack, and bonding over food is always a great way to encourage interaction at work. 

Idea: Set up a chip bar during lunchtime, offering a variety of tortilla chips and dips. Encourage employees to gather and enjoy a snack together.


February 26 - Pistachio Day


World Pistachio Day is a day to celebrate the popular nut and all the delicious ways it can be enjoyed.

Idea: Encourage employees to share their favorite pistachio food or drink creation of choice, and even leave the recipe for others to use!
